Testimonials
The TLO course was exciting, thrilling, though provoking and FUN!! If I'd known the content before I went, I may have thought the course wasn't for me, but I'm so glad I went.  I faced fears, worked with great people and had the best time ever whilst learning new things!! I met some really special people and look forward to keeping in touch with them all!

Thanks again to Irene and Ally who are so passionate about experiential learning and the outdoors and made this course such a great success!

BSES – British Schools Exploring Society

Adventurascotland are employed as the regional marketing co-ordinators for the recruitment of young people for BSES expeditions.

We visit schools and give presentations on the work of BSES and the opportunities available to individual young people. We are not looking for a ‘school group’ but one or two individuals to participate with other young people from all over the UK.

As a charity BSES offers places on expeditions with a specific scientific focus/research in wilderness locations to young people aged 16-20 years.

In today’s competitive world of employment and further education such an experience can only enhance the opportunities for young people by combining valuable research projects and personal development and growth.

As part of the challenge the young people are expected to fundraise the cost of the expedition, and are mentored throughout the process by BSES.

BSES is a charity, not a commercial company therefore all funds raised go directly to the cost of the expeditions.

We are available to give short presentations to senior pupils throughout Scotland. If interested please contact us to discuss further or arrange a visit.
